Enjoy our privileged and private location on Tangolunda Bay - with the beach just beyond our 500 foot free-form pool.

There too, you'll find our garden area with palm trees, palapas and lounge chairs, as well as our pool restaurant and bar.

Our gourmet open air restaurant with its chef prepared delicious fare also faces the sea. The beach club restaurant and bar with its own splash pool and hammocks is practically at the sea.

Designed by Sordo Madaleno, a well-regarded Mexican architect. He introduced a classic Mediterranean feel complemented by the strong Mexican colours he added to his design. The architecture is interwoven within tastefully landscaped spacious gardens. The exhuberant vegetation allows a spectacular and contrasting fusion of colors. All this is complemented by our uniquely shaped swimming pool which provides a focus point at the center of the hotel’s grounds.

The perfect choice for those who want the spoils of gracious living in the unspoiled beauty of Huatulco.

A five hundred foot free form pool overlooks our beautifully secluded, private beach – a view shared by our guest rooms and the three gourmet restaurants catered by our award winning chef.

With its Mediterranean style, Camino Real Zaashila Huatulco extends down the hill on the beach named Rincón Sabroso (the only access is through the hotel, making our beach an exclusive one). The 12 complexes that form the hotel are strategically distributed so that every room has a view of the amazing Tangolunda Bay.

Camino Real Zaashila Resort, Huatulco, Mexico

Huatulco is somewhat remote and exceptionally beautiful. The Sierra Madre Mountains stop short to make way for soft beaches of white and light golden sands that stretch out to greet turquoise and light green crystal waters; in some places sharp rock formations from the mountain's edges plunge into the Pacific Ocean below.

The Zaashila resort is perfect for a quiet and relaxed getaway on Mexico's southern Pacific coastline. A short and inexpensive taxi ride from the hotel you'll find Santa Cruz and La Crucecita; local towns offering shopping, dining and nightlife.

Santa Cruz is a small bay where the old fishing village was originally located. Today, both upscale and palapa-style restaurants line the beach. There are also several small shopping areas and a marina, where one can rent a boat or hire a captain with his own boat to visit the various bays or spend a few hours on one of the catamarans that cruise the water.

For a taste of small town Mexican life, there is La Crucecita, which serves as a support community for the area and has a more genuine Mexican atmosphere. It has many restaurants and shops built around a typical Mexican zócalo - the focal point of the community enjoyed by residents and tourists alike.

Travelers’ Comments:

"Thank you all for the hospitality shown during our stay, we have been to several places in Mexico, both at the beaches and to several towns in the interior of the country and I can say that nowhere as in Huatulco have we received such hospitality and friendliness. The staff at the Zaashila was 100% service oriented.
Thank you !"

“The ultimate in beauty, service, elegance, food and environment.”

“Absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend it to my friends.”

"The property was beautiful, the service was friendly, the check-in was smooth and the food was excellent. We stayed in a Club Room with private plunge pool. It also included continental breakfast each morning and happy hour every afternoon - all included in the room price."
